The robust spaulders consist of four parts of chased sheet steel, as well as leather straps and buckles.

The robust spaulders consist of four parts of chased sheet steel, as well as leather straps and buckles. They are very flexible and adjustable by help of the leather straps. We added an additional leather strap for fixing the spaulders to other parts of plate armour, e.g. bevor or breast plate.
The spaulders can not only be fixed at plates but also at a chain mail shirt or a gambeson.
